Welcome to Glen Massey School

Nau mai, haere mai—Welcome to Glen Massey School.

Nestled in a peaceful village setting just 9km from Ngāruawāhia, Glen Massey School is a vibrant rural hub where 120-130 tamariki come together to grow, learn, and play. Our school is a true reflection of our community; we are proud of our diverse whānau—40% Māori and 60% European—which creates a rich, inclusive atmosphere where every child belongs.

Across our five-to-six classrooms, our dedicated team of teachers, including our Principal and Deputy Principal, works alongside a passionate support staff of learning assistants and administrators. Together, we ensure every student is supported, challenged, and known by name.

Our grounds are a blend of history and modern learning. From our well-resourced library to our swimming pool, basketball/tennis courts, and playground, we offer a "big school" experience with a "small school" heart. Whether it’s starting the day together at Breakfast Club in our school hall or exploring our beautifully landscaped fields, Glen Massey is a place where rural values meet 21st-century learning.
